MESA, Arizona, April 25. MERE minutes after completing a very difficult double on Friday at the Arena Grand Prix in Mesa, Ariz., Tyler Clary talked about making the transition to a new type of training at SwimMAC Carolina and how it’s translating to racing.

Despite feeling the pain, Clary was happy with the times he posted in the 400 IM and the 200 back in Mesa. “I’ll take a 1:59.2 after a sub-4:20 400 IM any day,” he said in between breaths.
