Video Interview: Michael Phelps Not Pleased With Opening Speed In 100 Free

IRVINE, California, August 6. AFTER swimming the 100 freestyle, Michael Phelps stopped by the media mixed zone to talk about his first race of the 2014 USA Swimming nationals.

Phelps wasn’t too happy with his 23.98 opening 50 meters, but was pleased with the way he was able to finish the race, qualifying third in the final behind Nathan Adrian and Anthony Ervin.
