IRVINE, California, August 6. MATT Grevers didn’t make the Pan Pacific or world championship team in 2010, having a subpar meet in Irvine four years ago. He’s back in the same pool for the 2014 nationals, and started things off on a positive note, qualifying fourth in the 100 free.

Grevers talked about the anxiety he had about returning to the site of his 2010 disappointment and how the 100 free is now setting himself up for his 100 backstroke and other events.
