IRVINE, California, August 8. THIS meet has been a breakout for Kendyl Stewart. One night after winning her first national title in the 50 fly, she won another in the 100 fly, recording her first sub-58 performance. Stewart talked in an interview after the race about coming back from a disappointing performance this year at NCAAs, her massive improvements, and getting to the wall ahead of veterans Claire Donahue and Felicia Lee.
