IRVINE, California, August 7. THE meteoric rise for Kaylin Burchell continued in Irvine today when she dropped four seconds from her personal best time to earn the third seed for the final. The University of Alabama product talked afterwards about her past year, where she surprisingly made the A-final at SECs but did not score at NCAAs. She spoke of how she will handle the nerves that come with swimming in her first big final and also of her intentions for her other events this week.
