Video Interview: ‘In Teri We Trust,’ Say Missy Franklin and Elizabeth Pelton

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee, December 6. MISSY Franklin and Elizabeth Pelton have been swimming a lot of off-events this fall semester, but neither have much concern about getting out of their comfort zone, if that’s what Cal head coach Teri McKeever wants them to do.

In separate interviews at the USA Swimming nationals, Franklin and Pelton discussed putting complete trust in McKeever’s event selection. For Franklin, that means racing the 500 free next to Katie Ledecky here in Knoxville. As for Pelton, that meant doing a few 400 IM and 200 butterfly races earlier in the semester.
