nathan-adrian

Nathan Adrian claimed the men’s 50 free title at the 2017 AT&T Winter Nationals in a time of 18.77. He was the only swimmer under the 19-second barrier and was slightly off his best time from 2011.

The five-time Olympic gold medalist talks about how this meet breaks up the monotony of fall training and is looking forward to this upcoming summer. He also discusses going out of his comfort zone and settling down.

Charmingly loopy in interview. Like a normal young person and not the controlled college brain he’s oft reported as being. He sounds no different than any other loose young swimmer. He can’t remember many times many things he’s done lately, he just doesn’t know many things when asked, you know. Nathan always seems to be enjoying swimming which is a great thing – especially when you’re great at it.
