IRVINE, California, August 6. THE win in the men’s 1500 for Connor Jaeger marked his second straight, but he had to fend off a big challenge from Michael McBroom to earn this one. He won the event in 14:51.06, and afterwards he spoke about his feelings on clocking the time that ranks fourth in the world. He also commented about the race he will have on his hands to win gold at Pan Pacs and how he mentally approaches racing a 1500.
