AUSTIN, Texas, March 29. CONNOR Jaeger was on a mission in his final NCAA race, knowing that Jeremy Bagshaw had put up a time in a previous heat of the 1650 freestyle that could be a top-three finish.

Jaeger, the cover personality on the March issue of Swimming World Magazine, talked about pacing his race to make sure he was ahead of Bagshaw’s time at the finish. He also talked about rebounding from a shaky start to his meet, and what it meant to have Michigan close the meet with two individual event victories.
