(Video Interview) Coley Stickels Brought Eight to Winter Nationals

Coley Stickels brought eight of his athletes from the Canyons Aquatic Club across the country to Atlanta for the AT&T Winter National Championships. In a video interview with Swimming World before Saturday morning’s prelims, Stickels explained what he hoped to get out of the meet and how he felt his athletes have reacted.

Stickels also delved into his intensive weight training program, one which Abbey Weitzeil and Santo Condorelli both followed on their way to strong performances at the Olympic Games in Rio and one that National finalist Nikol Popov now follows. Stickels also evaluated the performances of those Olympians and reflected on how his training program had adjusted during the Olympic year.
