SANTA CLARA, California, June 21. NOT having the ideal meet at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara was did not let Allison Schmitt down, and she talked about how the three-week altitude training camp with North Baltimore affected her performances.

Saying she is “excited” about nationals and “ready to race,” Schmitt said she’s putting all of her trust in Bob Bowman as the team gets ready for taper. Her body feels a bit different now than it did two years ago as she was preparing for the Olympics, but she still likes where she is at this point in her career.
