Valparaiso vs. Wright State

DAYTON, Ohio, November 15. THE Wright State swimming and diving program swept a dual meet with Valparaiso on Saturday (November 15) at the WSU Natatorium. The men's squad posted a 143-72 victory and the women's team won by a score of 129-87.

The Raiders men's squad won all 13 events against the Crusaders to post their fourth league victory this season. Davynn Peffer helped the Raiders get off to a good start in the dual meet sweep over Valparaiso. He tallied two individual wins along with helping the team win the opening 400 yard Medley relay. He finished with a time of 1:43.82 in the 100 yard Freestyle and 55.09 in the 100 yard Backstroke. Corey Johnson swept both boards to help WSU win all of the events against the Crusaders.

On the women's side, the Green and Gold posted victories in the first six events and won 10 out of the 13 events overall. Eight different people posted event victories, with Stevi DiMasso winning both diving boards. Kelsey Cooper was a member of the 400 yd. Medley Relay team that opened the meet with a victory and then posted a win in the 50 yard Freestyle.

The Raiders will return to the pool on December 4th when they compete at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational. The event starts on the 4th and runs through the sixth on the Oxford campus.
