Financial hardships have forced athletic program cuts at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Both men's and women's water polo will be eliminated from its roster of sports along with men's and women's

Greek Tragedy, Poolside
Akis Tsatalios, 32, the head women's coach of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club, one of the premier teams in the Greek professional league, collapsed and died of a heart attack during a game last week. Among his players that witnessed the incident: USA silver medalist Heather Moody.
