USA Swimming Sectionals, Pleasant Prairie: More Sectional Wins in the Ledger

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wisconsin, March 10. THE USA Swimming Sectionals in Pleasant Prairie continued for a third day of long course meter swimming.

Aberdeen's Hannah Kastigar claimed the women's 400 IM in 4:57.96, while Colorado Springs' Frida Berggren took second in 5:00.64. Jennah Haney earned third in 5:07.16. Blue Devil's Daniel Conway topped the men's 400 IM in 4:32.04. Wildkit's Kevin Quinn (4:35.85) and Colorado Springs' Ian Clarke (4:36.48) took second and third.

Peddie's Mary Mucciarone won the women's 50 free in 26.52. Glenview Titan Olivia Smoliga took second in 26.78, while Lake Forest's Christine Kuczek placed third in 26.82. Rapid City's Joshua Jordan claimed the men's 50 free title in 23.59. Southwest's Michael Lucchesi (23.76) and Mesa's Payton Sorenson (23.78) picked up second and third.

Ozaukee's Katherine Drabot hit the wall in 2:39.41 to win the women's 200 breast. Paulina Gralow finished second in 2:39.98, while Waukeska's Anna Meinholz earned third in 2:40.44. McFarland's Jacob Mandli posted a 2:21.11 to win the men's 200 breast. Peddie's Forrest Davis took second in 2:21.19, while Tariq Miller wound up third in 2:25.34.

Harvard's Catherine Zagroba (4:22.16) and Kelsey Hojan Clark (4:22.26) went 1-2 in the women's 400 free. Lake Forest's Rachel Stoehr earned third in 4:26.36. Thomas Duvall captured the men's 400 free in 4:00.36. Marcus Guttman (4:00.55) and Tyler Hines (4:01.77) finished second and third.
