USA Swimming Sectionals, Oklahoma City: Taylor Wohrley Wins Three Titles

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 8. THE last night of swimming at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Oklahoma City, Okla., featured Parkway's Taylor Wohrley pocketing a trio of titles.

AquaHawgs' Jenny Holtzen began the evening with a winning time of 16:53.48 in the women's 1650-yard free, while Kansas City Blazer Austin Acheson took the men's 1650-yard free title in 15:45.94.

Wohrley grabbed the women's 200-yard back victory in 1:58.23, while AquaHawgs' Ellis Miller hit the wall in 1:46.10 for the meet record in the men's 200-yard back.

Wohrley claimed a second gold medal on the evening with a 50.36 in the women's 100-yard free before CSP Tiderider Evan Noble won the men's 100-yard free in 45.46.

Aquahawk Emma Reaney next took the women's 200-yard fly crown in 2:03.36, while Miller earned his second victory of the night with a 1:48.18 in the men's 200-yard fly.

Parkway's Hallie Stupp, Brigette Selbert, Kimberly Steinhouse and Wohrley set a meet record with a 3:24.74 to win the women's 400-yard free relay, while CSP Tiderider foursome of Noble, Adam Sharp, Bobby Jones and Daniel Miller hit the wall in 3:05.36 for the men's 400-yard free relay title.
