USA Swimming Sectionals, Jenks: Trio of Olympic Trials Cuts Posted

JENKS, Oklahoma, March 2. THE first full day of long course meter racing took place in Jenks, Okla., as part of the USA Swimming Sectional series. A trio of U.S. Olympic Trials qualifying times were posted during the assorted finales.

Ad Astra Area's Katie Price cleared the Olympic Trials mark in the women's 100 breast with a 1:11.94. CSP Tiderider Madison Qualy took second in 1:14.38, while KC Blazer Bryce Hinde touched third in 1:14.79.

Parkway's Heather Lundstrom posted an Olympic Trials cut time of 1:01.11 to win the women's 100 fly. Gator's Gabriel Vieira took second in 1:02.89, while KC Blazer's Mariah Hutchinson picked up third in 1:03.15.

Rec Plex Shark Andrew Sansoucie clocked a 55.15 to win the men's 100 fly in an Olympic Trials qualifying time. Parkway's Nickolaus Orf (56.10) and Luke Schlueter (56.34) completed the top three.

Tsunami's Christopher Novak won the men's 100 breast in 1:04.76. Razorback's Gage Crosby (1:04.99) and Millard's Isaac Springer (1:05.50) took second and third.

Topeka's Haley Molden claimed the women's 200 free in 2:03.55, while KC Blazer Katarina Sickle took second in 2:04.71. Rockwood's Jordan Stout placed third in 2:04.98. Julio Galofre topped the men's 200 free in 1:53.69, while KC Blazer Ben Bravence touched second in 1:54.52. SwimTulsa's Eastman Holloway placed third in 1:55.38.

Razorback's Jennifer Holtzen won the women's 400 IM in 5:03.76. KC Blazer Rilye Fries earned second in 5:07.33, while CSP Tiderider Elizabeth Krane snared third in 5:08.28. Parkway's Nickolaus Ord toped the men's 400 IM in 4:37.44, while KC Blazers Heath Maginn (4:39.83) and Louis Behnen (4:40.35) placed second and third.

During the first night, KC Blazer Amelia Davis won the women's 800 free in 9:10.92, while Rockwood's Nicholas Davis finished first in the men's 800 free with an 8:28.73.
