USA Swimming Sectionals, Gresham: Fourth Evening Complete

GRESHAM, Oregon, July 22. THE USA Swimming Sectionals held in Gresham closed the curtains on a fourth day of long course meter swimming.

Phoenix's Noriko Inada, 32, cruised to victory in the women's 100 back with a 1:01.73, while Wyoming's Kelsey Conci finished second in 1:02.86. Lake Oswego's Grace Carlson, 15, completed the podium in 1:03.46. DU Hilltopper Kyle Milberg captured the men's 100 back in 57.80. Will Gunderson finished second in 58.30, while Swim Utah's Major Robinson earned third in 58.62.

North Jeffco's Abigail Houck, 16, dominated the women's 400 free with a 4:16.94. Sun Devil's Kata Simonovic, 16, finished second in 4:21.94, while DU Hilltopper Paige Newell touched third in 4:23.82. Kamehameha's Ian Wheeler crushed the field in the men's 400 free with a 3:58.00. DU Hilltopper Clayton Myers placed second in 4:02.87, while Sun Devil's Josh Olszewski, 16, picked up third in 4:03.11.

Sun Devil's Mary Olsen captured the women's 100 breast in 1:10.91, while Colorado Stars' Christine Wixted took second in 1:11.16. Wyoming's Morgan Hartigan finished third in 1:11.88. Wyoming's Brandon Fischer snatched the men's 100 breast title in 1:04.05. DU Hilltopper Tanner Krall finished second in 1:04.59, while Swim Utah's Karson Applin earned third in 1:04.90.

Colorado Stars' Kelly Naze cleared 1:00 in the women's 100 fly for the win with a 59.72. Issaquah's Kathryn Kinnear, 16, picked up second in 1:00.84, while DU Hilltopper Mackenzie Stein finished third in 1:01.44. Bend's Logan Madson took home the men's 100 fly title in 55.36. Superior Stingray's Aaron Ghiglieri finished second in 55.57, while North Jeffco's Andrew Torres wound up third in 56.00.
