Updated FINA World Cup Standings

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, November 4. FINA just announced its third update of the top-three rankings in the FINA World Cup series today. Heading into Moscow, Russia, the United States still owns the top spots.

Randall Bal pushed his leading total to 75 points for the men, while Russia's Nikolay Skvortsov moved into second with 40 points. South Africa's Roland Schoeman dropped to third with 32 points.

For the women, Natalie Coughlin remained in the lead with 70 points, although she will not compete again in the series until the final stop in Belo Horizonte. Sweden's Therese Alshammar held onto second with 40 points, while Australia's Libby Lenton moved into third with 25 points.

While there are various other event-win and world-record bonuses included in the prize money allocated for the World Cup series, the overall winners receive $100,000, while those placing second and third overall will receive $50,000 and $30,000, respectively.
