GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The two newest additions to the Florida men’s swimming and diving team are freshman incomer Martin Stange and Arizona transfer Grant Sanders.

Sanders is a transfer student from the University of Arizona, who Coach Troy says will be an all-around swimmer for the Gators. The Clearwater, Fla. native returns to his home state after swimming the 2015-16 season with the Wildcats.

Stange comes from Peachtree City, Ga. and Coach Troy believes he adds good depth to the Gators’ sprint strokes. The incoming freshman will mainly be focusing in the free and butterfly.

When speaking about the incoming class as a whole, Coach Troy was excited for what the team had in store. “I am very pleased with the new guys coming in,” said Troy. “They are a group that swims all the strokes, giving us good size and tremendous depth. The skill set coming in will help fill in the weaknesses from last year’s squad.”

The entire NLI signee men’s class consists of nine incomers, listed below.

Clark Beach – Chesterfield, Va. / Matoaca High School
Ethan Beach – Chesterfield, Va. / Matoaca High School
Tate Callahan – Ponte Verda Beach, Fla. / Atlantic Coast High School
