Hunt and Schultz led UC Davis with 18 points apiece as the Aggies exhibitioned all their swimmers in the final four events of the day (500 free, 100 fly, 400 IM, and 200 free relay) after sprinting out to an early lead en route to the win. Hunt posted wins in both backstroke distances, touching in a time of 57.16 in the 100 and 2:04.25 in the 200, while Schultz, won back-to-back events, claiming the 50 free in a time of 24.28 and the 100 free in a time of 52.79 after the break.

Both were also members of the fastest 200 free relay squad, joining teammates Hilvy Cheung and Brittany Rojo, which closed out the meet with a Schaal Aquatics Center record of 1:36.57 — besting the previous mark held by the Washington State team of MacLeod, Van Horne, Peterson, and McCleave, in 2006 by four-tenths of a second.
