ARGENTINA (ARG)
Apr.17–After a prolonged time off, the website for the Argentine Aquatic Sports Confederation, Confederacion Argentina de Desportes Acuaticos (CADDA), is back online.

Apr.14–CADDA has announced a 12-swimmer team for the 2008 Copa Latina, April 24-28 in San Marino. Team members are: Walter Dar&ío Arciprete, Julia Arino, Cecilia Andrea Bertoncello, Elizabeth Biagioli Cecilia, Mar&ía Gisel Bondino, Eliana Cassini, Federico Grabich, Andr&és Jos&é Gonzalez, Ivan Maciuniak, Sof&ía Osaba, Esteban Paz and Freddy Renzo Zschach. Coaches: Gustavo Langone and Marcelo Mosquera.

Apr.19–The CADDA Executive Committee met on April 19 in Buenos Aires. At the meeting, the dates of the 2008 Argentina Masters Nationals was set (June 13-16 in San Luis).

ARUBA (ARU)
Apr.1–The French Antilles (Guadeloupe, Martinique, et al) and French Guiana were the overall winners of the 2008 CARIFTA Swimming Championships, held in Savaneta, Aruba, March 27-31. Final team standings at the 2008 edition Caribbean age-group meet were:
