U.S. Paralympics Update

COLORADO SPRINGS, August 27. THE dates for the 2004 Paralympic Team Selection Meet are finalized. The meet will be held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center (Minneapolis) from April 22-24, 2004. More information and meet packets will be available later in the fall.

The selection criteria for the 2004 Paralympic Team are currently under scrutiny by the Delegation Review Committee and once they are approved, notice will be posted on SwimInfo.

The "Last Chance" meet is in Indy November 29-30. The meet qualifying times are the same as the cuts for Athens – the intent is to swim fast and gain more slots for American swimmers at the Paralympics.

The U.S. Paralympics Swimming Performance Plan is now available.
