CASERTA, Italy, July 4. On the eve of Belgium soccer national team’s decisive match against powerful Argentina in the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, three Belgian swimmers (part of FFBN – Federation Francophone Belge de Natation) are preparing their bags for a 16-day trip to Caserta, Italy.

François Heersbrandt, Fanny Lecluyse and Jonas Coreelman will make their final preparation outside Belgium before the European Championships in Berlin this August, alongside ADN Swim Project at the Italian club’s base in South Italy.

It is the first time that part of any national team joins ADN in their preparation prior to a major swimming event.

At the moment, Andrea Di Nino’s fly aces Evgeny Korotyshkin and Andrey Govorov are racing in Vichy at the French Open. This afternoon, Govorov tied for 3rd (with Albert Subirats) in the 50m butterfly in a 23.84.
