The Morning Swim Show: Wrap-Up of USA Diving Olympic Trials; Christina Loukas Talks About Making Olympic Team; J.R. Rosania Offers Weightlifting Tips for Sprinters

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 24. TUESDAY'S edition of The Morning Swim Show is dedicated mostly to diving and the USA Diving Olympic Trials, where four Olympians were named last weekend.

Host Peter Busch gives a recap of the four divers who made the Olympic team in Indianapolis – Laura Wilkinson, Troy Dumais, Christina Loukas and David Boudia. In Reaction Time, Loukas talks about the feeling of making the team and how it felt to lead the competition throughout the entire meet.

He also talks about the breaking news concerning the joint effort by coaches Frank Busch, Eddie Reese and Jack Bauerle to raise money to help save Arizona State University's men's swim program. The three coaches will officially announce the fund-raising effort Saturday.

Fitness trainer J.R. Rosania offers more tips this week for sprinters to gain more speed and explosive power. Rosania suggests adding claps to push-ups and doing medicine ball throws.
