The Morning Swim Show: Women’s NCAA and Short Course Worlds Previews; J.R. Rosania Offers Core-Strengthening Exercises

PHOENIX, Arizona, March 5. THE Tuesday edition of The Morning Swim Show gives viewers a preview of the FINA Short Course World Championships, the last major international meet before the Olympics.

Host Brent Rutemiller starts the show by informing viewers of the various duties SwimmingWorld.TV will have at this weekend's women's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Then, he talks with James Hickman, a five-time world champion and current communications manager for the 2008 FINA Short Course World Championships. Hickman details how the event will turn the meet into an entertainment spectacle for athletes and fans, with light shows and other new features.

In "Technique and Tips," Swimming World fitness trainer J.R. Rosania gives viewers some key exercises to strengthen the core muscles, which include the abdominals, obliques and back muscles.
