The Morning Swim Show, Sept. 5, 2012: Shannon Vreeland Using Olympic Success to Fuel Georgia’s Goals This Season

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 5. SHANNON Vreeland is back on campus at the University of Georgia, ready to help the Bulldogs this season after winning gold in London, and she talks about the team's goals on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Vreeland, a junior at Georgia, relives the experience of swimming in the final of the 800 free relay at the Olympics. She was especially happy about racing with her Georgia teammate Allison Schmitt, who took a year off school to train for the Games. Now, with some of the fastest 200 freestylers on the team, Vreeland talks about the expectation for the 800 free relay this season, and how the great performances from the summer could help Georgia's chances at a team title.
