The Morning Swim Show, Sept. 27, 2012: Carol Capitani Understands “Pressure” to Return Texas to the Top

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 27. NEW Texas women's head coach Carol Capitani joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about her goals for the team in her first season in Austin, Texas.

Capitani, who had been an assistant coach at the University of Georgia for 14 years, discusses the decision to take on a new challenge at Texas. She also talks about what it felt like to watch Allison Schmitt, who she coached at Georgia, win Olympic medals. Though she will have strong ties to Georgia and her alma mater UC-Berkeley, she is anxious to get Texas back at the top of the collegiate ranks.
