The Morning Swim Show: “Nine Days of Beijing” Relives Olympics — Day Five Recaps Upsets and Surprises in Water Cube

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 27. THE Morning Swim Show is taking a look back at nine days of the best swimming in history with our year-end series "Nine Days of Beijing."

Day 5 of the series features a discussion with Swimming World Magazine senior writer John Lohn about the thrilling races in the Water Cube, including Alain Bernard's redemption in the 100 free final, the Chinese 1-2 punch in the women's 200 fly and Australia's rout in the women's 800 free relay. Also featured is an interview with Jim Montgomery, the first man to break 50 seconds in the 100 free, which he did in winning gold at the 1976 Olympics.
