The Morning Swim Show: Natalie Coughlin Discusses Prep for Olympics; Analyzing Olympic Women’s 400 Free Relay Medal Contenders

PHOENIX, Arizona, July 30. TODAY'S edition of The Morning Swim Show previews the Olympic race in the women's 400 free relay and gets some insight from Natalie Coughlin on her preparation for the Olympic Games.

In the aftermath of the news surrounding Jessica Hardy's drug test, Swimming World senior writer John Lohn offers up possible names to take the fourth spot in the final for the Americans in the women's 400 free relay in Beijing. The race, Lohn predicts, will come down to four countries – United States, Australia, the Netherlands and Germany.

Natalie Coughlin has learned a lot about herself in the four years since winning two gold medals at the 2004 Olympic Games. At the media day for the US Olympic team held at their training camp in California recently, Coughlin talks about how she views the Olympics differently and how she's getting ready to race physically and emotionally.
