The Morning Swim Show, May 14, 2012: Intense Training at Mission Viejo Helped David Heron Win 5K National Title

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 14. NATIONAL champion David Heron joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about winning the 5K race at the USA Swimming open water nationals.

Swimming a five-kilometer race was nothing for Heron, as he trains monster yardage as a member of the Mission Viejo Nadadores. Heron talks about a couple of recent sets he did and how it affects him mentally and physically. He also discusses his desire to compete in college.
