The Morning Swim Show, June 10, 2011: Natalie Coughlin Keeps Perfect Balance Between Pool and Dryland Training

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 10. NATALIE Coughlin joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show as she prepares for world championships and a return to the Olympic Games.

Coughlin's training regime has become divided equally between pool and dryland, and she breaks down what her pool workouts focus on each day. With the Olympics fast approaching, she also talks about her potential Olympic program, leaving the door open for a spot on the 800 free relay if Olympic head coach – and personal coach – Teri McKeever believes it is in the USA's best interest. Food is also a big part of Coughlin's life, and she talks about why she puts eggs into many dishes and what has become her favorite pre-race meal.
