The Morning Swim Show, August 20, 2009: Bruce Wigo Details History of Top Inductees into 2009 Class of International Swimming Hall of Fame

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 20. IN three weeks, a dozen of history's best aquatic athletes will be inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and Masters Swimming Hall of Fame, and ISHOF CEO Bruce Wigo joins The Morning Swim Show to give a history of some of the inductees.

Wigo and host Peter Busch relive the history of Olympic champions Jenny Thompson, Alexander Popov and Inge de Bruijn, as well as some of the other inductees who have made remarkable contributions to the world in and out of their respective sports. The Hall of Fame Honoree Induction Dinner will be held on Saturday, September 12, starting at 6:30 PM, at the Marriot Harbor Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Other activities scheduled for Hall of Fame Weekend include: the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Ceremony on September 11,the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame Induction luncheon on Saturday, September 12th and "A Golden Homecoming: An evening with Greg Louganis and Jeanne White-Grinder" on Sunday evening, September 13th.
