SwimmingWorldMagazine.com Is Proud To Announce Two Additions To Staff

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 30. RECENTLY, SwimmingWorldMagazine.com added a pair of qualified individuals, Erin Greene and Brian Savard, to the staff on the web site. These additions should increase the amount of swimming coverage seen on the site.

"I am extremely happy to announce the addition of two high quality individuals such as Erin and Brian to our staff," Swimming World Magazine managing editor Jason Marsteller said. "Erin has already proven herself to be an incredible worker throughout this past semester, and Brian impressed us during the application process. We very much look forward to seeing our site grow to fulfill the needs and desires of our readers even further due to their enthusiastic efforts."

Greene comes to SwimmingWorldMagazine.com from Ohio State University. After a semester serving as a Newsmaster Intern for the site, Greene earned a spot as the Assistant Newsmaster when Dave Denniston's plate filled up with his burgeoning motivational speaking career. Greene is currently completing degrees in professional writing and English at OSU after finishing her career as a member of the OSU swimming and diving team last year. She joined the Ohio State media relations department as the school's swimming & diving and rowing contact during her fifth year at the university. She also served as the news editor for UWeekly, the school's newspaper, and as an editorial intern for the Columbus-based magazine company, The Publishing Group, Ltd. Her primary responsibilities are College Channel coverage and feature writing.

"I am so excited to have the opportunity to write for a publication that has been my swimming encyclopedia my whole life," Greene said. "I cannot think of a better way to continue my involvement with swimming than to write about it."

Savard joins the SwimmingWorldMagazine.com family as its newest Newsmaster Intern. He is currently a junior swimmer at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania pursuing a degree in mass communications. He is a staff writer for the sports section of student-run newspaper The Crusader and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. In his previous swimming stops, Savard swam for Upper Main Line YMCA, Westtown Aquatic Piranhas and Conestoga High School. His primary responsibilities are the High School Channel, high school state championship coverage and feature writing.

"This internship is a fantastic opportunity to cover the sport I love at the highest level," Savard said. "As a lifelong fan of the sport and an avid reader of swimming publications, I'm honored to be an intern for Swimming World Magazine."
