Swimming World, Swim Champions’ Fitter and Faster Tour To Promote Swim Clinics Around U.S.

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 19. SWIM Champions' Fitter and Faster Tour will be partnering with Swimming World to promote swim clinics throughout the United States.

Each Fitter and Faster event allows for young, aspiring athletes to meet and swim with Olympians, wear their medals, take photos, get autographs and learn new techniques. Every swimmer is guaranteed to leave inspired by the athletes they met on the tour.

"I was truly impressed by the Fitter and Faster Tour," Coach Justin Correia, brother of Olympian Maritza Correia said. "As a coach I was excited to see the athletes interacting with the kids and giving them the inspiration to dream big and to do things right. There were laughs all around from the kids, parents, even the coaches! It's definitely a great thing for American Swimming."

Every Swimmer who attends a Fitter and Faster Tour event will receive a free 90-day Premium Subscription to Swimming World Magazine as part of the gift bag. In addition, Swimming World will be providing regular updates of news surrounding each event as new cities are added to the tour.

Beginning in January of 2011, a different Fitter and Faster Tour athlete will be featured in Swimming World Magazine and information on how athletes can attend an event in their city will be published. Regular updates also will be posted on SwimmingWorld.com.

There are more than 20 Olympic and World Championship medal winners touring on the Fitter and Faster Tour! Names like – Misty Hyman, Christine Magnuson, Ian Crocker, Matt Grevers, Josh Schneider, and Megan Jendrick.
