Swimming World Radio Talks With Swimming World Magazine’s College Swimmer of the Week Kara Lynn Joyce

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 27. GEORGIA senior Kara Lynn Joyce sat down with Swimming World Radio after earning Swimming World Magazine's College Swimmer of the Week honors.

Joyce took the women's 100 freestyle (47.62) title for the third straight year, the fastest time in the nation this year and an automatic NCAA Championship qualifying standard at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Kentucky's Lancaster Aquatic Center. Joyce completed the meet with the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle (1:45.21) crowns. Joyce's 50 freestyle (21.73) is the fastest time in the nation this year and just one-tenth of a second off her American record of 21.63. She ended her career with nine individual conference titles.
