Swimming World Competition Roundup

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 14. DURING the past week, meet managers took full advantage of uploading recent results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

AGE GROUP
FALL INVITATIONAL
The Jakarta International School in Indonesia held its Fall Invitational Nov. 8-10 at the Cilandak Pool.

HIGH SCHOOL
CENTRAL SUBURBAN LEAGUE
New Trier High School’s girls squad put together 461.50 points to claim the Central Suburban League-South title Nov. 9 at the Niles West High School pool in Skokie. Evanston placed second (349.50), followed by Glenbrook South (286), Maine South (162), Niles West (92) and Waukegan (34). The junior varsity swimmers competed in their separate championship a day earlier.

COLLEGE
UNLV VS. UTAH
The UNLV Rebels competed against the University of Utah Utes Nov. 8. Utah won in both contests with their women winning 195-105 and the men emerging victorious, 166-134. UNLV swimmers enjoyed success in several individual events, but were unable to score points over Utah in diving and distance competitions.
