Swimming World Competition Roundup

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 20. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading recent results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

AGE GROUP
GCST SUMMER INVITATIONAL
The Gulf Coast Swim Team’s annual Summer Invitational took place June 13-16 at the Lee County/Florida Gold Coast University Aquatic Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Sarasota YMCA took the top spot in the combined team race with 906.5 points, followed by Swim Florida (559.5), Metro Aquatic Club of Miami (472.5), Waves Bloomington (404.5) and St. Petersburg (390).

CURACAOSE A KAMPIOENSCHAPPEN
The Curacao Championships took place at the Sentro Deportiva Korsou in Willemstad, Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles June 14-16.

CAMPEONATO PROVINCIAL DE PANAMA
The provincial championships of Panama took place June 14-16 at the Piscina Eileen Coparropa in Juan Deas, Panama City, Panama.

SJSSL — HLH vs. SJS
In St. Johns Summer Swim League action, the St. Johns Stingrays defeated the Heritage Landing Hammerheads 1,002-615. The meet was held June 15 at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club in St. Augustine, Florida.

LIGHTNING INVITATIONAL
West Florida Lightning Aquatics hosted its annual Lightning Invitational June 14-16 at the Largo Recreation Department Southwest Pool.

HARLEM SWIM MEET
Action in the Montana Federation of Swimmers, a summer league, got underway June 8 with the Harlem Swim Meet in Harlem, Montana.

SUPER CIRCUIT 1
This is the first of a series of three long course meets which offer swimmers a short meet format, as well as the chance to compete in more long course competition. The series will be held in the Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse Southern Tier region of Niagara Swimming. Whitney Point Swim Club hosted this initial meet.
