PHOENIX, Arizona, May 18. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

AGE GROUP
9TH ANNUAL H2O AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS

The H2O Swim Club hosted its ninth annual championship meet May 12 at the American School of Doha in Qatar.

Results: 8th H2O Age Group Championship 2012 – (05-12-2012 – 05-12-2012)

SENIOR/OPEN
GCST TRIALS QUALIFIER

Gulf Coast Swim Team hosted a meet May 11-13 to enable swimmers to qualify for Olympic Trials, Junior Nationals and the Southern Zone Championships. The meet was held at Florida Gold Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla.

The Davie Nadadores’ 679 points put them in first in the combined team standings; Bolles School Sharks claimed the second spot with 437, followed by Swim Florida (407), Metro Aquatic Club of Miami (278) and Clearwater Aquatic Team (254).

HIGH SCHOOL
EMPIRE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Empire League Championships were held May 2-4 at Kennedy High School in La Palma, Calif. This meet qualified swimmers for the CIF Southern Section Championships which took place the following week.

The Yorba Linda Mustangs grabbed first in the girls race with 468 points, followed by the Cypress Centurions (358), Pacifica Mariners (334), Valencia Tigers (272) and Kennedy Fighting Irish (167). The Kennedy boys were tops, scoring 426 points to Cypress’ 397, with Valencia third (320), Yorba Linda fourth (220) and Pacifica fifth (190).
