PHOENIX, Arizona, May 3. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.

AGE GROUP
53RD MILO NATIONAL SCHOOLS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Singapore Sports School was host to the 53rd MILO National Schools Swimming Championship April 16-25. Competition was held in “A”, “B” and “C” divisions.

Raffles Institution swept the “A” division titles, scoring 199 points in the girls competition and the boys scoring 211. Anglo Chinese Junior College took second among the girls (142.5), with Temasek Junior College third (103.5). Anglo Chinese School Independent was the boys runner-up champion (116), followed by Anglo Chinese Junior College (107).

In the “B” division, Raffles Girls School Sec. was the girls champion, putting together 177 points. Methodist Girls School was second (92). In a close battle for third, Singapore Sports School squeaked by Singapore Chinese Girls School, 85-83. On the boys side, Anglo Chinese School Independent finished ahead of Singapore Sports School for first, 188-170. Raffles Institution grabbed third (50).

Raffles Girls School Sec., Methodist Girls School and Singapore Sports School finished in the top three in the “C” division girls championship, racking up scores of 172, 93 and 83 points, respectively. Anglo Chinese School Independent took first among the boys with 172 points. Raffles Institution placed second (141), with Singapore Sports School third (72).

H2O LONG COURSE SPRING CUP

The H2O Swimming Club hosted the Long Course Spring Cup April 26-28 at the Hamad Aquatic Center in Doha, Qatar. Teams from throughout the nation of Qatar, as well as squads from Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates competed.
