Swimming World Announces Amy Van Dyken Rouen to be Next Open-Ended Facebook Fan Page Interview

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 11. OLYMPIAN Amy Van Dyken Rouen will join Swimming World's Facebook Fan Page and answer your questions on Thursday, Nov. 12. Van Dyken Rouen will periodically check in and respond to the questions and comments you leave on our Facebook Fan Page. She has volunteered to make herself available and to answer questions that you may have, to help give her fans an inside view of her life.

This is an opportunity for any Van Dyken Rouen fan to see how her success in the pool has led her to where she is today. This is a chance to discover what the Olympics were like in 1996 and 2000 through the eyes of a top athlete.

Van Dyken Rouen won six gold medals in the Olympics, four golds in Atlanta and two golds in Sydney. In Atlanta, she became the first American female athlete to win four gold medals in a single Olympic Games. After this performance she was thrust into the spotlight winning an ESPY and numerous other awards. She fought off injury and returned to the Olympic scene to win two more gold medals and finish fourth in the 50 free in Sydney. After her swimming career finished, she married former NFL punter Tom Rouen and currently works for Phoenix radio station Mix 96.9 and is a local high school swimming coach.
