Swimmers as Hot as the 100+ Degree Temperature on Day 3 of Masters Short Course Nationals

TEMPE, Arizona, May 17. ON the first day of 2003 in which the temperature topped the 100-degree mark in Arizona, Masters swimmers competing in the 2003 USMS Short Course Nationals in Tempe were just as hot.

Records tumbled in event after event, despite the heat (but it's a dry heat) and crowded conditions on the deck and warmup pools.
