Surging U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team on Cover of the January Issue of Swimming World

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 1. THE cover of the January issue of Swimming World Magazine is graced by members of the United States women's water polo team.

United States women's water polo has enjoyed much success on the international front for the past several years. Winners of the silver medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the first at which female water polo was accepted as a medal sport, the Americans are reigning world champions in the sport going into the Beijing Games.
