Successful Turnaround Coach Interviewed in February Swimming Technique

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 11. MATT Kredich, third-year head women's coach at the University of Tennessee, is featured in this month's Swimming Technique question and answer segment. Coach Kredich covers a number of topics with Swimming World contributor, Michael J. Stott.

Kredich talks about the keys to reviving swimming programs at Brown University and at the University of Richmond. He also illuminates the importance of relays in terms of building a connection with individual athletes to the greater team as a whole.

The second half of the interview provides insights into the current women's program at Tennessee. Components of training, the Lady Volunteer dryland program, holiday training and the role of meditation and visualization are included.

Swimming Technique's How They Train spotlight in this issue features University of Tennessee senior Christine Magnuson. Coach Kredich provides insight as to why Christine has been such a successful component for the Lady Vols continued improvement.
