PHOENIX, Arizona, May 3. AN autopsy was performed on Alex Dale Oen's body yesterday in Flagstaff, and no conclusion has been made about the cause of death, according to an article in the Arizona Republic. The coroner's report said there was no evidence of trauma in Dale Oen's heart, and no signs of drugs in his system. An official report on the cause of death could take as long as two months, with more tests needing to be done.

A man in Los Angeles County is in jail today after allegedly holding his stepson's head underwater Sunday evening during a swimming lesson to the point where the boy lost consciousness. Jacqorie Stansell was trying to teach his stepson how to swim, and police reports say that when the boy wasn't learning quickly enough, Stansell held the 7-year-old boy's head underwater for as long as 15 seconds. The boy stopped breathing momentarily, but paramedics were able to revive him and get him to the hospital for treatment. Stansell was arrested for attempted murder and cruelty to a child.

And take a look at this photo, if you need some motivation for Olympic Trials. USA Swimming released this photo of the medal that will be given to the winners at Trials in a couple of months. The medal is quite similar to the ones handed out at the 2008 Trials. No word on whether all swimmers who make the Olympic team will get medals for their swimmers, especially the second-place swimmers, but for now this photo should be exciting enough for those getting ready for Omaha.
