Stanford Synchro Wins Seventh US Collegiate National Title

PALO ALTO, California, March 25. WHILE the NCAA Division I Swimming Championships were taking place in Indianapolis, across the country at Stanford University, the US Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships were in full swing. The competition ran March 20-23 and included solo, duet, trio and team routines. All events are available on demand through Take it Live.

Host Stanford won its 7th US Collegiate national title; taking wins in the team, duet and trio finals. The Cardinals finished with an overall 97 points, followed by 2012 Champions Ohio State, who finished with 78 points. Lindenwood University came in third with 76 points.

Six US National team members won medals at the championship event. They included Lindenwood's Mary Killman and Stanford's Mariya Koroleva, Olivia Morgna, Megan Hansley, Morgan Fuller and Michelle Moore.

Before the event, Take it Live took the time to chat with some of the competitors, including several ladies from Stanford and University of the Incarnate Word, who explained the synchronized events they would be competing in.
