Split Results for United States at Junior World Water Polo Championships

LOS ALAMITOS, California, October 14. COMPETING at the Junior World Water Polo Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the United States split its most recent two games, falling to Russia (10-5) and defeating Argentina (13-3). The United States squad will face France in its next match.

Caleb Hamilton scored twice in the loss to Russia and Chay Lapin played a solid game in goal, registering 15 saves. Matt Sagehorn, Tyler Kandel and Miguel Cidoncha scored once each. As for the win over Argentina, Sagehorn and Hamilton tallied hat tricks and J.W. Krumpholz scored twice and managed to earn a quartet of ejections.
