Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships: Day Two Finals

TORONTO, Canada, February 16. KEITH Beavers and Elizabeth Beisel both doubled during the second night of finals action at the Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships held in Toronto over the long course.

Beavers claimed his initial gold medal of the evening with a 2:03.04 in the 200 IM before snaring the 100 back title in 57.55.

The most exciting finish of the night came during the men's 50 fly as Scott Farrow and Andy Townsend posted matching 25.44s to share the title.

Meanwhile, Kyle Smerdon (50 free – 23.81) and Andrew Hurd (400 free – 3:52.58) won titles for the men, while Victoria Poon (50 free – 25.91), Barbara Jardin (400 free – 4:15.77) and Paige Miller (50 fly – 28.02) picked up crowns for the women.
