Seven Cities Will Battle for 2013 World University Games

BRUSSELS, Belgium, October 26. THE International University Sports Federation has announced the seven cities that have bid to host the 2013 edition of the World University Games. The cities were required to submit a letter to the FISU expressing an interest in holding the competition. Final-bid packages are required by March 15, 2008 and the winning city will be announced on May 31, 2008.

The cities that are seeking to host the World University Games are Edmonton, Gwang Ju (Korea), Kazan (Russia), Murcia (Spain), Poznan (Poland), Quebec and Vigo (Spain).
