PHOENIX, Arizona, October 1. The Tennessee Lady Vols picked up a second verbal commitment tonight as Scottsdale Aquatics’ Hannah Holman gave head coach Matt Kredich the good news this evening.

Holman, the third-ranked swimmer in the State of Arizona by CollegeSwimming.com, joined Emily Allen this evening in becoming part of UT’s Class of 2015.

Holman hails from Olympic gold medalist Misty Hyman’s alma mater of Shadow Mountain High in Phoenix, Ariz., and should punch up Tennessee’s depth in the breaststroke, butterfly and IM department.

Holman is a bit stronger in long course than in short course with a 1:02.20 in the 100-meter fly as well as a 2:02.21 in the 200-meter IM and a 2:35.43 in the 200-meter breaststroke.

Her top ranked swims in yards are the 100-yard breast (1:03.74), 100-yard fly (55.08), 200-yard breast (2:17.43) and 200-yard IM (2:02.85).

Along with whatever progress she makes during her senior season, she will be in good hands when she gets to Knoxville.
