Schedule, Tickets Available for FINA Women’s Water Polo Tournament

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, May 8. DON’t miss out on the chance to see the best in international women’s water polo later this month in Riverside, CA. Schedule and ticket information for the 2014 FINA Women’s Intercontinental Water Polo Tournament is now available. The eight team international tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the FINA World League Super Final, is set for this May 19-25 at the Riverside Aquatics Complex in Riverside, CA. Defending Olympic Gold Medalists in women’s water polo, the United States of America, will play host to seven nations including: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela.

The official tournament starts on Tuesday, May 20, but on Monday, May 19 come see the USA Women take on Australia in a special exhibition match at 6pm. Admission is free to this exhibition match that will feature modified rules including five field players on each side and a smaller game ball.
